Sanrio Themed Hotel Rooms in Tokyo
Sanrio Themed Hotel Rooms in Tokyo
Keio Plaza Hotel Hachioji will begin accepting reservations from Friday, January 16, for two new Sanrio themed hotel rooms in Tokyo featuring Sanrio Co., Ltd.’s beloved characters, Little Twin Stars. These new rooms will officially open on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.
With this launch, the Little Twin Stars Room becomes the third Sanrio character room concept at Keio Plaza Hotel Hachioji. The hotel remains the only property in western Tokyo offering Sanrio character rooms, joining the already popular Hello Kitty Room and My Melody & Kuromi Room.
The newly introduced Little Twin Stars Room is designed around a gentle and fantastical worldview expressed through soft pastel colours. Stars, moons, and rainbows decorate the space, while Kiki and Lala arrive on a unicorn to welcome guests into an extraordinary stay experience. The ceiling resembles a glowing night sky, complete with sparkling stars, the Milky Way, and charming constellations. A raised, shoe-free area allows guests to relax comfortably, making the room especially safe and enjoyable for families with young children.
Guests staying in the Little Twin Stars Room also receive exclusive take-home amenities featuring original designs available only at Keio Plaza Hotel Hachioji. These include Little Twin Stars mascots, cotton gathered bags, bath amenities, and other thoughtfully designed items that turn the stay into a lasting memory.
Since July 2023, the hotel has operated two permanent Hello Kitty Rooms and two My Melody & Kuromi Rooms. These have proven extremely popular, particularly with families, maintaining an average occupancy rate of approximately 90 per cent over the past two years. With the continued rise in inbound tourism, overseas visitors now make up a growing share of visitors. Building on this success, the hotel has welcomed Little Twin Stars as a new addition, especially meaningful as the characters celebrate their 50th anniversary in 2025.

Little Twin Stars Room
The Little Twin Stars Room invites guests into a dreamy universe guided by Little Twin Stars, also known as Kiki and Lala. Surrounded by pastel tones and gentle lighting, the room feels calm, magical, and imaginative. Their friends, including the moon and seven rainbow-colored bears, add playful touches throughout the space.
A raised area creates a cosy zone for family time, relaxed conversations, or winding down before bedtime. As night falls, the star-filled ceiling and soft décor make the experience feel like drifting through the night sky alongside Kiki and Lala.
